An RNZ Insight programme broadcast today mentioned two previous Transport Accident Investigation Commission Inquiries: Investigation 01-005R Bell UH-1H Iroquois ZK-HJH, in-flight break-up, Taumarunui, 4 June 2001; while on 29 October 2015 the Commission published a review of its inquiry (.pdf) concerning the September 2010 parachuting aircraft accident at Fox Glacier.
The Commission has also published an independent review (.pdf) of the investigation process employed, with an emphasis on the on-scene examination of the wreckage.
