Develop a separate track warrant theory recertification examination for train controllers, which covers all relevant track warrant rules and regulations and other instructions included in reference manuals and books.

Tranz Rail accept this recommendation. It is intended that Train Controllers will complete the more comprehensive assessment outlined in 068/01 together with a separate assessment covering Rail Operating Code procedures specific to Train Control. It is expected that the latter assessment will be implemented by the end of February 2002.
