Tranz Rail accepts safety recommendation 046/99. Your recommendation, however, does not add anything new to the existing process. The ongoing management of the system requires that these items be continually reviewed and revisited. Changes as a result of review have already been made to these processes and further review of the entire inspection regime is continuing. As such we find that the recommendation is already in place.
