We note that the MSA is to produce a marine notice which will endorse BRM training and recommend that BRM forms part of company training policy. Tasman Express will send some of its senior and junior officers on BRM courses and evaluate the results. We understand there are courses running in Australia, with the possibility of New Zealand in the near future, and will be seeking details of these courses at the earliest opportunity.
