A team of investigators is now examining the wreckage taken from the crash scene and reviewing other documentary and interview evidence gathered to date.
Once this work is complete the inquiry will move into an analysis phase, which may lead to further evidence gathering if required.
The Commission has the ability to issue urgent safety recommendations or other interim report should the need arise.
A final report is unlikely to be completed before May 2017, however this indication is subject to revision and will be updated under the Current Inquiries section of the website.
