For New Zealand, the Transport Accident Investigation Commission opened an inquiry for administrative purposes in order to assist an investigation that had been opened by the Transport Safety Investigation Bureau (TSIB) of Singapore.
The reported circumstances were that at Changi Airport, Singapore on 1 July 2026, a Boeing 767-300F freighter (registration N314UP), operated by United Parcel Service, travelled beyond its runway holding point and entered runway 20C. At the same time, a New Zealand registered aircraft, ZK-OKS, was starting its take-off roll on that runway. No damage or injuries were reported.
TAIC closed its administrative inquiry because the TSIB elected not to continue beyond its preliminary assessment.
