The Authority also took the opportunity to discuss this proposal with the rafting industry Working Group. All members of the group are fully supportive of the safety card concept and believe that it will serve to complement the verbal and practical instructions given to clients before the commencement of the trip. In conclusion, taking into account the rafting industry's comments and our own assessment of TAIC's recommendations, the MSA has decided to adopt recommendation 020/96 concerning the use of safety cards.
